Also, OneOrbit proceeds from Fisher Spacepen sales go to a special scholarship fund, managed by our non-profit partner, the Houston Association for Space and Science Education (HASSE). This scholarship fund is used to help bring OneOrbit programs to underprivileged schools.

OYO Personal Gym

Personal fitness is a fundamental part of “Making the Most of Your OneOrbit!” Using the same SpiraFlex technology developed for the first International Space Station astronaut resistive exercise device (IRED), OYO has created a novel, lightweight portable exercise device. Dr. Chiao personally used the IRED onboard the ISS and found it to be completely effective in maintaining his muscle mass and bone density during his 6-1/2 month flight. He was impressed with the technology and compact design, and was thrilled that the success of the IRED led to the creation of the OYO Personal Gym. OneOrbit is a proud partner of OYO Fitness.
